# Kokua Line: How do I get claim number for AT&T hack?
Are you one of the millions of customers affected by the massive data breaches at AT&T? A month ago, social media was abuzz with news that the telecom giant had settled a class-action lawsuit related to the hacks, which exposed sensitive information of over 70 million current and former customers. As an eligible claimant, you may be entitled to up to $7,500 in compensation.
However, if you're still waiting for your settlement email or haven't received one at all, you might be wondering what to do next. The good news is that notifications began going out to affected class members by postcard and email in August, with each notification including a unique Class Member ID. If you've received an email from the domain "attsettlement@e.emailksa.com," check your spam/junk folder as well.
But what if you're not receiving any emails or have missed your claim notification? Don't worry! You can follow up with Kroll Settlement Administration, the settlement administrator, via their contact form at 808ne.ws/46BNvDg. Simply supply your name and contact information, and briefly state why you believe you are a class member and didn't receive a claim notification.
It's essential to note that the proposed settlement includes two separate incidents: "AT&T 1 Data Incident," which exposed personal identifying information such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, account pass codes, billing account numbers, and Social Security numbers; and "AT&T 2 Data Incident," which included phone usage records of current and former customers and the telephone numbers with which they interacted. Some customers were affected by both incidents.
The settlement administrator provides detailed information on its website at telecomdatasettlement.com or you can call 833-890-4930 to listen to FAQs over the phone. Claimants who document distinct losses in both incidents may receive up to $7,500, while those in the first incident (documenting losses that occurred in 2019 or later) may receive up to $5,000, and those in the second incident (with losses on or after April 14, 2024) may receive up to $2,500. Overlap settlement class members are eligible for both incidents.
**Claim Submission Deadline:** Eligible claimants have until November 18th to submit a claim. Don't miss this opportunity to receive the compensation you deserve!
