A New Author Has Appeared
Welcome to this week’s edition of the Threat Source newsletter! I'm thrilled to be taking on the role of contributing author, and I'm excited to share my thoughts and insights with you. As Sam Reich would say, "And your host, me! I've been here the whole time!" Okay, maybe not the whole time, but for the past few months, I've been learning the ropes and soaking up as much information as possible about cybersecurity threats and trends.
A bit about me: I'm a recent graduate in computer science with a passion for cybersecurity. As a jobseeker, I've had my fair share of experiences navigating the world of online security, from encountering deepfakes to worrying about my parents' security. This newsletter is more than just a platform for sharing information – it's also a chance for me to learn and grow alongside you.
In this issue, we'll dive into some of the most pressing cybersecurity concerns facing individuals and organizations today. From MathWorks' disrupted systems and online applications to Commvault vulnerabilities being exploited by malicious actors, there's no shortage of interesting topics to explore.
