Galaxy S25 Now Brief Feature May Come to S24 Series After All

Samsung has been gradually rolling out the latest One UI 7 beta updates for its Galaxy S24 lineup since December 2024, and in the latest iteration, a notable feature from the Galaxy S25 series may finally make its way to the S24 series.

In a surprise turn of events, the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra have almost all the new features introduced with the Galaxy S25 series, including Now Brief, in the latest One UI 7 beta update. However, there's a catch - accessing this feature is not as straightforward as expected.

The Now Brief feature provides users with a summary of their daily plans, news, tasks, and more, as well as reminders for upcoming events, trips, weather, and traffic conditions. While it may seem like a useful tool at first glance, our testing experience on the Galaxy S25 series showed that it's not quite as effective in practice.

Despite its limitations, Now Brief is still an integral part of the Galaxy AI experience, and Samsung should consider making it more widely available to users. With the stable One UI 7 update set to roll out to the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra from April 7, there's a possibility that this feature will be activated on these devices as well.

Moreover, if Now Brief becomes available on the Galaxy S24 lineup, it's likely that other flagships launched in 2024, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and the Galaxy Tab S10 series, may also receive this feature. Who knows? Maybe even devices launched before 2024 will get Now Brief as well - a user can only hope.

The inclusion of Now Brief on the Galaxy S24 series would be a significant development in Samsung's effort to provide a unified Galaxy AI experience across its device lineup. As users, we can only look forward to seeing how this feature unfolds and what other exciting features might be in store for us.
